How Your Moonrobe Box Is Personalised

Every Moonrobe box is handcrafted using slow, precise pyrography. The goal of personalisation is to make each box unique and meaningful, while keeping the design balanced and true to the style of the chosen template.

This page explains what goes on the box, what does not, and how to provide your personal details correctly.

What Goes on the Box?

Name

The name is usually:

  • a first name, or
  • a nickname,
  • one single word.

Exceptions:

  • Wedding box → two names (e.g., Anna & Mark)
  • Friendship / Memory box → two names may also be used

The final size and placement of the name depend on the template and box size.

Date

The date is optional and can be provided in any format:

  • full date (e.g., 12 June 2024)
  • year only (e.g., 2024)
  • year + month (e.g., June 2024)
  • any meaningful day (birth, wedding, christening, anniversary)

Important: This date is the one that will appear on the box, not the customer’s personal details.

What Does NOT Go on the Box?

 

Greeting Card Message

The greeting message does not appear on the box. It is printed on a separate card placed inside the box as part of the gift packaging.

The greeting message can be:

  • a personal note
  • a warm wish
  • a short quote
  • a heartfelt message

Details:

  • maximum 300 characters
  • submitted on the product page
  • placed inside the box, not on the lid

Font Style & Appearance

 

Moonrobe uses a fixed, pyrography‑optimised font style.

  • The font cannot be changed
  • The size adjusts automatically based on text length
  • Placement follows the structure of the template
  • The font style also matches the aesthetic of the chosen template

This ensures every box remains elegant, balanced and true to the Moonrobe identity.

How the Templates Work

 

Moonrobe templates are:

  • pre‑designed
  • size‑adjusted
  • fixed layouts
  • minimal and symbolic in style
  • different for each category

Template structure:

  • 3 main categories: Wedding, Baby, Memory
  • Each category has 3 styles
  • Each style is available in 3 sizes: Small, Medium, Large

This results in a total of 27 template variations.

Templates ensure balanced proportions, harmonious layout and timeless appearance. Templates cannot be modified, and fully custom designs are not available.

Colours & Motifs

 

Custom colours cannot be requested.

If a template includes a small colour accent (e.g., pink or blue in the Baby category), it will appear as part of the design — but colours cannot be changed or added individually.

Important: The baby’s gender may need to be provided, as the name alone is not always clear.

What Cannot Be Requested

 

The following customisations are not available:

  • custom fonts
  • extra motifs or illustrations
  • long quotes or extended text on the box
  • fully custom layouts
  • photo engraving
  • designs outside the Moonrobe themes
  • custom colours

These limitations protect the minimalist, elegant Moonrobe style.

How to Provide Your Personal Details

 

On the product page, you will find fields where you can enter:

  • the name
  • the date (optional)
  • the greeting card message
  • the baby’s gender (if relevant)

Please double‑check:

  • spelling
  • date format
  • special characters
  • message length

The details you provide are used exactly as submitted, so accuracy is important.

Final Check Before Production

 

All personal details are reviewed before the pyrography process begins. If anything is unclear, too long, or does not fit the template, you will be contacted for clarification.
